Last updated: October 30, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains what personal data Simple Life Reviews ("we", "us") collects when you use simplelifereviews.com, why we collect it and the choices you have.
Who is responsible
The data controller is Simple Life Reviews (simplelifereviews.com).
- Email: [email protected]
- Postal address: available on request by email.
Data we collect
- Messages you send us. When you use the contact form we receive your name, email address and message, together with your IP address and browser user agent (used to prevent spam and abuse).
- Technical data. Like any website, our servers and our network provider receive technical data such as your IP address, browser type, the pages requested and the time of the request. These logs are used for security and to keep the site running, and are kept for a limited time.
- Cookies and similar technologies. We use a small number of necessary cookies and local storage entries. Optional analytics and marketing cookies are only used if you allow them. See our Cookie Policy.
We do not ask you to create an account and we do not sell your personal data.
Why we use it (legal bases)
- To answer your messages (our legitimate interest in responding to enquiries, or steps you asked for).
- To protect the site against spam, fraud and attacks (legitimate interest).
- To remember your cookie and theme choices (necessary for the service you request).
- For optional analytics or marketing, only with your consent, which you can withdraw at any time.
Affiliate links
Our reviews contain links to retailers and brands. When you click one, you leave our site and the retailer's own privacy policy applies. Affiliate networks may record that a visit or purchase came from our site so that we can be paid a commission; see our Affiliate Disclosure.
How long we keep data
Contact messages are kept for up to 24 months and then deleted, unless you ask us to delete them sooner or we need them longer to meet a legal obligation. Server logs are kept for a short period for security purposes.
Sharing
We share personal data only with service providers that help us run the site (our hosting provider and our network provider, Cloudflare, which carries all traffic to the site), under appropriate agreements, or when required by law.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct or delete your personal data, to object to or restrict its processing, to data portability, and to withdraw consent at any time. To exercise these rights, email [email protected]. You may also complain to your local data protection authority.
Children
This site is not directed at children under 16 and we do not knowingly collect their personal data.
Changes
We may update this policy. The date at the top shows when it was last changed.
