La nostra valutazione
UGREEN's chargers earn consistent praise for build and safety features, and its NAS hardware is good value. NAS software gaps and unlabeled charger ports hold it back.

UGREEN is the accessory brand you have probably bought without thinking much about it: a USB-C cable, a GaN wall charger, a hub for a laptop with too few ports. Over the last few years it has also moved into home network storage with its NASync line, which puts it up against Synology and QNAP. This UGREEN review looks at both halves of the business, using lab reviews from MacRumors, PCMag and PetaPixel, long-form charger reviews, brand overviews and German NAS owner forums, to answer the question most buyers ask: is UGREEN reliable, and is it worth the money?
Verdict: is UGREEN worth it?
For chargers, cables and hubs, yes: UGREEN sells well-built GaN chargers with sensible safety features at prices below the big names, and reviewers who use them daily have few complaints beyond confusing port labels. Its NASync NAS boxes are a good-value way to leave cloud storage behind, with strong hardware for the price, but the software is still catching up with Synology and power users miss features such as volume encryption.
Who is UGREEN?
UGREEN is a Chinese electronics brand that started with cables and adapters and now sells chargers, power banks, hubs and docks, trackers, audio gear and NAS devices. The sources disagree on when it began: Honest Brand Reviews says it was founded in 2009, while Greenlit Content gives 2012. The company's own homepage claims 2100+ patents, sales in 180+ countries, 73 product design awards and 300M+ global users.
The homepage groups the range into a few named families: Nexode chargers, NASync storage, Revodok docks, MagFlow magnetic chargers and the playful Uno chargers. Those names help when you shop, because the same wattage can come in several shapes and port layouts.

Chargers: where UGREEN earns its reputation
GaN (gallium nitride) chargers are the core of UGREEN's catalog, and they get the most consistent praise.
UGREEN Nexode 140W
HighTechDad took the Nexode 140W on a trip as the only charger for a laptop, phone, watch, earbuds and a battery pack. One USB-C port delivers up to 140W, enough to fast-charge a MacBook Pro through a MagSafe cable, and the reviewer notes you can run a MacBook Pro at 100W and still have 40W for other devices.
The travel details are just as useful. HighTechDad's review lists a weight of 10.6 ounces, a plug that folds away and a 1.5-meter USB-C cable rated for 240W in the box, plus a thermal guard that checks the internal temperature 800 times per second.
For lighter loads, HighTechDad also covers the 45W Nexode Mini, which splits its power 20W and 25W across two USB-C ports and weighs about 3.35 ounces.
UGREEN 4-in-1 100W GaN X Fast Charger
MacRumors reviewed this four-port charger (three USB-C, one USB-A) and found the US version slim enough to palm, with a folding plug. The top two ports reach 100W and the other two 22.5W each, but power is shared: with two devices on the top ports you get 65W and 30W, and with all four ports in use the main port drops to 45W.
The catch MacRumors flagged is that the ports are not marked with their maximum wattage, so it takes a while to learn which one will fast-charge a laptop. Its verdict: a flexible, travel-friendly charger that is best used as a single fast charger for a big laptop, or an overnight multi-device charger.
NASync: UGREEN's network storage
UGREEN's NAS boxes are newer, and reviewers treat them as strong hardware with software still growing up.
UGREEN NASync DXP2800
PCMag rated the two-bay DXP2800 3.5 out of 5, Good. It runs an Intel N100 with 8GB of DDR5 RAM (up to 16GB), takes up to 60TB of storage, and has a tool-free chassis, an HDMI port and plenty of USB ports, but only one 2.5GbE LAN port.

The bigger problem is software: PCMag's review counted 20 apps in its App Center, against more than 270 on the Asustor AS5402T, which it names as the better buy at $369.
UGREEN NASync DXP4800 Plus
PetaPixel came at it as a first-time NAS buyer and found the four-bay DXP4800 Plus easy to set up, quiet and well built for $699. It has 8GB of DDR5 RAM (expandable to 64GB), one 2.5GbE and one 10GbE port, and room for up to 136TB. The reviewer liked UGREEN's UGOS Pro software for its simplicity but said it still has room to grow, and pointed to Synology's DSM and TerraMaster's TOS as more mature.

What NAS owners say
German owners are more critical than the review sites. A long post on the UGREEN forum praises the hardware as one of the strongest starts by a new NAS maker in years, with multi-core CPUs, fast network ports and metal cases, but says UGOS Pro is still being built out. The criticism that comes up in almost every serious discussion there is the lack of volume encryption. On Heimnetz.de, owners called the hardware strong competition for QNAP and Synology for home users while expecting the software to lag behind.
Shipping, returns and warranty
Policies are where the sources are thinnest and most dated. Honest Brand Reviews reports free shipping on US orders to most areas, a 30-day window for a refund or exchange, and return shipping paid by the buyer unless the product arrived defective. Greenlit Content gives an 18-month warranty and free shipping above $30, with a flat $4.99 fee below that. Because the two disagree on shipping, check UGREEN's current policy at checkout.
UGREEN vs Anker and Baseus
The usual comparison is with Anker, which plays the same role in chargers and power banks. On price, sources point both ways: Honest Brand Reviews found a UGREEN 100W GaN charger at $49.99 against a similar Anker charger at $43.99, while Greenlit Content claims UGREEN generally costs 20-30% less than Anker and Belkin. Treat UGREEN as competitive rather than dramatically cheaper.
If you are weighing the brands, our Anker review covers its chargers and Soundcore audio, and our Baseus review covers the budget end of power banks and earbuds. For gaming gear rather than charging, see our Corsair review.
For NAS buyers, the alternatives are Synology, QNAP, Asustor and TerraMaster. Synology has the most polished software, Asustor offers far more apps at a similar price, and TerraMaster sits close to UGREEN on specs.

UGREEN 4-in-1 100W GaN X Fast Charger
UGREEN 4-in-1 100W GaN X Fast Charger: 4/5. MacRumors found it compact and flexible, but unmarked ports and steep power sharing with all ports in use limit it as a multi-laptop charger.
UGREEN NASync DXP2800
UGREEN NASync DXP2800: 3.5/5. PCMag found solid performance and an easy tool-free setup, but a single LAN port and only 20 apps make it best for simple backups.

FAQ
Is UGREEN a reliable brand?
For chargers and cables, reviewers consistently describe UGREEN products as well built and dependable, with safety features such as temperature monitoring. Its NAS hardware is also well reviewed; the software is the weaker part.
Are UGREEN chargers safe to use?
UGREEN builds temperature protection into its chargers: MacRumors reports five temperature readings every second on its 100W charger. As with any charger, buy from the official store or an authorized retailer to avoid fakes.
Is UGREEN better than Anker?
Neither wins outright. UGREEN's chargers compete closely with Anker's on features, and prices are similar enough that the better buy usually depends on the specific model and current sale.
Is a UGREEN NAS good for beginners?
Yes. PetaPixel found the DXP4800 Plus easy to set up as a first NAS, with a getting-started guide that walks you through the basics. Power users may find UGOS Pro limited.
What is UGREEN's return policy?
Honest Brand Reviews reports a 30-day refund or exchange window, with return shipping covered only for defective or damaged items. Check the current policy before buying, since sources describe it differently.
Is UGREEN good for iPhone accessories?
Yes. Its GaN chargers fast-charge iPhones and MacBooks, and its MagFlow line covers magnetic charging. Check the specific product page for certification details if that matters to you.
