Nuestra valoración
Genuinely useful for Alibaba sourcing with a real free plan, held back by credit-driven costs, ecosystem lock-in and billing and support complaints.

- Accio Work
Accio is Alibaba International's AI agent for e-commerce sellers: you describe a product, and it searches Alibaba's supplier network, compares quotes and can open negotiations for you. This Accio review explains what the tool does today, what each plan costs on the official pricing page, where users run into trouble, and who should give it a try. The short version: it is genuinely useful if your supply chain runs through Alibaba, and much less so if it does not.
Our verdict in brief
Accio suits dropshippers and small brands that already buy through Alibaba's platforms, such as Alibaba.com and AliExpress, and want faster supplier shortlists, quote comparisons and first-round negotiation. The free plan is enough to try one real sourcing task. Skip it, or stay on the free plan, if you source from domestic or non-Alibaba suppliers, need verified quality inspection, or want a mature product with a long track record of happy paying customers.
How we researched this review
We read the main independent write-ups of Accio, the App Store reviews of its mobile app, and the summaries of Trustpilot feedback published by other reviewers, then checked every plan price against the official Accio pricing page. We did not run sourcing orders ourselves. Several sources describe older versions of the product with different plan names and prices; where they disagree with the current pricing page, we go with the official page and flag the older figures.
What Accio is and what it does
Accio Work
Accio launched in 2024 as a conversational sourcing engine and was expanded in 2026 into Accio Work, a workspace of AI agents that carry out multi-step tasks. Ecommerce Paradise reports it is built on 25 years of Alibaba sourcing data covering more than 7,600 product categories, and links into Taobao, AliExpress, 1688 and Alibaba.com, so results come with supplier details such as minimum order quantities and verification status rather than generic web answers.
What can it automate? Reviewers describe four main jobs:
- Supplier search and comparison. Describe what you need in plain language, with images or files, and get a ranked shortlist with pricing and order minimums.
- Inquiry and negotiation. Agents message suppliers and handle early haggling on price and terms, with approval gates so nothing binding happens without your sign-off.
- Product and market research. Scheduled tasks can track competitor products, prices and campaigns, or scout social media for trending items.
- Store tasks. The Accio website highlights connections to Shopify, Amazon and TikTok Shop and more than 200 tools and skills for store setup, listings and content.
On platforms, eComStart lists desktop apps for Windows 10+ and macOS 12+, plus a web portal and a mobile app. That review also notes the agent toolkit draws on data sources such as Jungle Scout, though press coverage gives different catalog sizes, so treat headline product counts loosely.
One important limit: Accio is a research and discovery tool. In its reply to an App Store complaint about a fraudulent seller, the Accio team stated that it does not handle payments, orders or shipping, so every transaction happens directly between you and the supplier. You still carry the risk of who you pay.
Pricing
The official Accio pricing page currently lists three paid plans. Popular costs $19.90/mo billed monthly or $17/mo billed yearly; Advanced is $99/mo monthly or $83/mo yearly; Ultimate is $199/mo monthly or $167/mo yearly.
| Plan | Price per month | Limits | Free tier |
|---|---|---|---|
| Free | Free; 20 credits a day, plus 500 bonus credits that expire after 7 days (eComStart) | Daily allowance, no rollover, no top-ups | Yes |
| Popular | $19.90 billed monthly, or $17 billed yearly (Accio pricing) | Entry paid allowance | Free plan available |
| Advanced | $99 billed monthly, or $83 billed yearly (Accio pricing) | Larger allowance for heavier sourcing | Free plan available |
| Ultimate | $199 billed monthly, or $167 billed yearly (Accio pricing) | Highest allowance | Free plan available |
Everything runs on credits, and that is where costs get harder to predict. eComStart found the free allowance enough to test one product search and a comparison report, but not a real multi-product project, and notes that paid subscribers can buy top-up packs priced at $14.99 for 2,000 credits, $34.99 for 5,000 and $89.99 for 15,000. That same review lists the paid tiers as Pro, Elite and Ultra at the same three monthly prices, which suggests the plans were renamed rather than repriced.
Older reviews quote figures you will no longer see. Ecommerce Paradise describes a Starter tier that was $9.90/month and a separate Accio Work plan that was roughly $45/month with a 14-day trial. Neither appears on the current pricing page.
What about refunds and cancellation? None of the sources we read sets out Accio's refund policy in a way we could verify, and billing and cancellation problems are the most common complaint in the Trustpilot feedback that reviewers summarize. Check the terms at checkout, and if you subscribe, note how to cancel before your renewal date.
What users say
Feedback splits sharply by product and platform. On the App Store, the mobile app holds 4.6 out of 5 from 1.7K ratings, with users praising how quickly it narrows down products and suppliers. Even there, one print-on-demand seller wrote that image generation worked well less than half the time and lost track after a few prompts.
Trustpilot is much harsher. eComStart found a 2.1 out of 5 score from 14 reviews, with 79% one-star ratings centered on subscription cancellation, billing, slow support and procurement tasks that fell short. That is a small sample, and the app-store ratings cover the older mobile sourcing app rather than the newer desktop agent. CouponCurry's summary of the same feedback points to credit consumption and account issues, and a Reddit user it cites found the market-size estimates useful for direction but incomplete.
Security & data
The sources say little that is concrete about Accio's data handling, so treat this section as a list of cautions rather than a clean bill of health. Negotiation agents require your approval before anything binding, which limits the damage a misfiring agent can do. On the other side, one Trustpilot reviewer alleged seeing other users' data because of a caching bug; eComStart could not verify the claim but flagged it as worth reading before connecting sensitive store accounts. CouponCurry likewise mentions a reviewer raising account and privacy concerns.
If you connect Shopify, Amazon or email accounts, give Accio the narrowest permissions it needs, avoid uploading confidential designs until you are comfortable with its policies, and read the privacy terms on the Accio site yourself. We found no independent audit or compliance certification in the sources.
Pros and cons
Pros:
- Draws on live supplier data from Taobao, AliExpress and Alibaba.com
- Handles multi-step jobs like shortlists, comparisons and first-round negotiation
- Approval gates before anything binding happens
- Genuine free plan to test a real task
- Annual billing lowers the monthly price on every paid plan
Cons:
- Heavily tied to the Alibaba ecosystem
- Credit use makes real monthly cost hard to predict
- Billing, cancellation and support complaints on Trustpilot
- No physical quality inspection; you still vet suppliers yourself
- Thin independent evidence on data handling
Who it's for
Accio is a good fit if you run a cross-border store that sources through Alibaba's platforms, spend hours each week messaging suppliers and comparing near-identical listings, and want a first draft of research and negotiation you can then check. Early-stage founders validating a product idea can also get value from the free plan.
Skip it if your suppliers are domestic or outside Alibaba, if you need someone to physically inspect goods, or if you cannot tolerate unpredictable usage costs. If you are exploring AI tools that build things for you rather than source them, our MeDo AI app builder review covers a different kind of agent.
Alternatives
The sources name several other ways to find suppliers, each with different trade-offs:
| Alternative | What it does | Best for | Source |
|---|---|---|---|
| Alibaba.com search | Manual keyword search of the same supplier network | Sellers who prefer full control and no credit costs | eComStart |
| CJ Dropshipping | Dropshipping sourcing and fulfillment service | Sellers who want sourcing and shipping handled together | eComStart |
| Human sourcing agent | A person who vets factories and negotiates for you | Higher-value orders that need inspection | eComStart |
| SourceReady and ImportYeti | Supplier discovery and import-record research | Sellers who want supplier diversity beyond Alibaba | MyProsAndCons |
Our ratings
Overall: 3.5/5, because eComStart and Ecommerce Paradise found Accio genuinely useful for Alibaba sourcing with a real free plan, while credit-driven costs, Alibaba lock-in and billing complaints hold it back.
Accio Work: 3.5/5, since the Accio pricing page offers fair annual pricing and a free entry point, but eComStart reports harsh Trustpilot feedback on billing and support.
FAQ
Is Accio free?
Partly. eComStart reports a free plan with 20 credits a day and a one-time 500-credit welcome bonus for the first 7 days. That covers a small test, but real sourcing projects usually need a paid plan.
How much does Accio cost?
The Accio pricing page lists Popular at $19.90/mo, Advanced at $99/mo and Ultimate at $199/mo when billed monthly, with lower per-month prices on yearly billing. Credit top-ups for paid users cost extra.
Is Accio legit?
Yes, it is a real product from Alibaba International with a large user base, and its mobile app is well rated. It is not a marketplace, though: Accio does not handle payments or shipping, so you still need to vet each supplier and pay them directly with care.
What can Accio Work automate?
Supplier searches and comparisons, inquiries and early negotiation, scheduled competitor and trend tracking, and store tasks such as listings and content for platforms like Shopify. You still approve binding steps and should double-check its research.
Which sellers get the most from Accio Work?
Cross-border sellers and dropshippers who already source from Alibaba.com or AliExpress and want to cut time spent messaging and comparing suppliers. It adds little for businesses that source elsewhere.
Can I get a refund on Accio?
The sources we read do not state a verifiable refund policy, and billing and cancellation complaints come up often in user feedback. Read the terms before subscribing, start on the free plan, and cancel ahead of renewal if it does not fit.
Does Accio replace checking suppliers yourself?
No. Reviewers consistently advise confirming prices, order minimums, certifications and shipping terms directly with the supplier, and ordering samples before a large order. Accio speeds up the shortlist; it does not take on the purchase risk.
